I am so, SO excited to introduce you to my beautiful friend Jordan. Mama of four gorgeous kids, wife to Jake, daughter, friend and creator of POUCH carry bags. I first met Jordan around this time last year, while we were getting our nails done of all places. We started talking and instantly hit it off, little did I know she would become one of the most important people in my life ♡ Back in August last year Jordan told me about an idea she had been working on for some time, to create a bag stylish and practical but big enough to be able to fit her water bottle. She knew there was a gap in the market and that if she wanted a bag like this then there was a chance other mamas would too. I immediately said Yes, what an incredible idea! Tell me more ☼
The next month Jordan arrived to our coffee date with her very first sample and it was perfect (almost). After a few small tweaks to make it absolutely perfect she had her first range, the Penny Pouch. A gorgeous vegan leather insulated bag with gorgeous detailing and embellishments, perfect for every day wear. Next came the Polly Pouch, a slightly smaller version made out of post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, with a very similar design to the Polly.
Jordan & I (plus her youngest little babe Teddy) met at Fourth Hill Providore in Verdun for a celebratory lunch when the Pouch carry bags website launched. I of course was wearing my very own Penny Pouch, as was she 🙂 We started chatting about booking in a photo shoot to show off her bags and I said why not do it here, it is stunning! Fast forward a couple of weeks and we mat back there for a morning of coffee, laughs and capturing her beautiful range.
